A Walk with The Hermit
The Hermit is a seeker of truth, both within himself and in the world around him. He walks a solitary path, embracing the quiet and the stillness that allow him to hear the voice deep within. This journey isn't for everyone, and The Hermit knows this well—it is a lonesome road, and few are willing to tread it. But he understands that solitude is necessary. Only in the silence can he truly hear his own spirit.
In his pursuit, The Hermit leaves behind the material world. It no longer holds sway over him, for he has shifted his focus toward something far more profound. He ventures into the unknown, trusting completely in something greater than himself. He knows that he will arrive at the right place, at the right time, because he moves with faith, trust, and surrender.
Along his journey, The Hermit learns that many of the "truths" he once held dear are not absolute. He realizes that truth is not a fixed point but something that evolves and shifts as he grows. The Hermit walks with an open heart and an open mind, learning to flow and adapt.
Eventually, The Hermit arrives at his destination. He takes a seat to rest and turns his gaze inward, no longer seeking something external to anchor himself. It is then that he realizes the anchor has always been within. There is a universe inside him—a world of limitless possibilities nurtured by his creativity. He understands that the truth is within, the love is within, the full spectrum of emotions is within. He is the truth. The divine spark within him speaks louder than words, acts with more courage than any tool or symbol.
His staff is no longer a necessity—it's an indulgence, a companion rather than a crutch. The Hermit sheds light on what is truly important, guiding others toward their own truths. In my readings, he often points the way, highlighting something that needs attention. It is as though he says, "Here! Look here!"
Today, The Hermit reminded me that the journey toward truth is ultimately a journey inward. The answers are not in some distant place—they are here, within me, waiting to be discovered, waiting to be heard. The Hermit teaches us that we are our own beacons, our own truth, and that our inner light can guide us through even the darkest paths. May we all find the courage to listen to that quiet voice within, and trust in the journey it takes us on.
